Our Policy
Custom Home or Custom Renovation Design: We offer a full refund of any Landen design services right up until we have completed the first round of “Preliminary Plans” for you, at which point you then have a very good idea of what your new home or project would look like in both floor plans and full 3-D colour renderings as well as what the proposed building budget would be for your project or new home build, and at that time you would also have a very good idea of what Landen can offer you in our overall design-build service, and how we work with our clients, and if for any reason you are not fully satisfied with Landen’s design service up to this point of the design process, we will then fully refund your design deposit, however it should be noted that all design work to this point still belongs to Landen. (See also ownership of Plans) Once Landen is engaged to do a full set of structural plans then there is no refund, as at this point the plans are then deemed fully customized. It should be noted that if you do request a full refund we reserve the right to complete these plans and enter them into our “stock plan library”.
Landen Stock Plans: If downloading any of our “paid for” stock plans, there is no refund, however if you wish Landen to build for you based on one of our stock plans, then we would fully credit back to you the cost of the stock plans.
Similarly, if you custom design a home or renovation with us, and then plan to have Landen be your Builder or Project Manager, then we would again fully credit back to you the cost of the custom designed plans.
