At LANDEN Design Build, we believe great homes don’t happen by accident. They result from thoughtful planning, practical design, transparent communication, and decades of real-world construction experience.
For more than 40 years, our founder, Greg Genereux, has been actively involved in virtually every aspect of the residential construction industry—from framing homes and developing communities to designing and building hundreds of custom homes throughout the Calgary area
Today, LANDEN Design Build specializes in custom homes, acreage homes, renovations, and complete design-build services throughout Calgary, Foothills County, Diamond Valley, Okotoks, and Southern Alberta.

One of the things that truly sets LANDEN apart is our unique 30-Hour Design Test Drive.
Qualified projects can receive up to 30 man-hours of real CAD design and 3D rendering work with no upfront commitment and no obligation to proceed.
This allows homeowners to experience our design capabilities before making a significant financial investment.
Budget Before Design
Many homeowners spend thousands of dollars on plans before knowing whether the design fits their budget.
At LANDEN, we prefer a different approach.
We work with clients to develop a detailed wish list and preliminary construction budget before finalizing plans. This process helps reduce redesign costs and improves overall budget accuracy.
Full Transparency

Meet Greg Genereux
Greg Genereux has spent more than four decades building, designing, developing, and managing residential construction projects throughout Alberta.
His construction career began in the late 1970s when he founded TITA Construction at just 17 years of age. What began as a small construction company quickly grew into one of Alberta’s largest residential framing operations, employing between 60 and 100 carpenters and framing thousands of homes, condominiums, and apartment units.
Greg later entered into a joint venture with Statesman Homes and eventually became a 50% equity partner in Statesman Developments. This experience provided valuable insight into land development, project management, community planning, and large-scale residential construction.
Following the sale of his interest in Statesman, Greg founded Chandler Homes, where he spent the next 14 years building and managing nearly 1,000 custom homes throughout Calgary and area.
His passion for community development later led him to become involved in the creation of Discovery Ridge, one of Calgary’s most desirable residential communities. Through Discovery Ridge Development Corporation, Greg participated in the planning and development of the community in partnership with United Developments.
In 2014, Greg founded LANDEN Development Inc., or trade name as LANDEN Design Build, with a renewed focus on helping families design and build truly custom homes.
Throughout his career, Greg has remained committed to one simple principle:

Today, Greg continues to work directly with clients, helping them navigate everything from site selection and budgeting to design, permitting, and construction planning.
His extensive hands-on experience in both design and construction gives LANDEN clients a unique advantage—working with someone who understands not only how homes should look, but how they should be built.
After more than 40 years in the industry, Greg remains passionate about helping families turn their ideas into homes that will be enjoyed for generations.
