10 Year Landen Design-Build Warranty

Our 10 Year warranty start with a full 1/One-Year Warranty on everything that was installed by, provide by, or contracted by Landen Design Build

Including from the date of occupancy:

• Coverage for defects in materials and labour
• Squeaks in floors caused by shifting or shrinkage of materials
• Drywall repairs caused by shifting or shrinkage of materials
• And, as also further defined in the Home Warranty Insurance Policy.

Plus a full 2/Two Years Warranty on all Delivery & Distribution Systems provide by, installed or contracted by Landen Design Build including all related materials & labour

Including from the date of occupancy:

• Two years coverage for defects in materials and labour related to Heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation distribution systems
• Two years coverage for defects in materials and labour related to all electrical distribution systems
• Two years coverage for defects in materials and labour related to all plumbing, water delivery and septic systems
  And, as also further defined in the Home Warranty Insurance Policy.

Plus, a full 5/Five Years Warranty on the Building Envelope provide by, installed or contracted by Landen Design Build including all related materials & labour

Five years of warranty coverage from the date of occupancy related to any issues or defects in the application of components and or finishes that separate the conditioned space from unconditioned space, such as (roof, exterior walls, as also further defined in the Home Warranty Insurance Policy).

Plus, a full 10/Ten Years Structural Warranty for items provide by, installed or contracted by Landen Design Build including all related materials & labour

Covering all the load-bearing parts of the home from the date of occupancy for any structural components provide by, installed and or contracted by Landen Design Build, such as the homes main (structural frame, roof systems and foundation, as also further defined in the Home Warranty Insurance Policy)

WARRANTY EXEMPTION NOTE: Regarding any items supplied directly from our client that are to be installed by Landen Design Build (Landen) at the request of our client would not be covered in the above mentioned warranties, or in any above listed parameters, other than if the installation done by Landen of any client directly supplied item was incorrectly installed as set out in industry normal practises. Landen Design Build will NOT take any responsibility for any client supplied products, materials or items, whereby Landen will only cover the actual cost of re-installation labour only for any client supplied items that were installed by Landen, furthermore, whereby Landen would NOT be responsible for, nor cover the replacement cost of any client directly supplied items, even if installed by Landen Design Build. Furthermore, any subcontract work that is directly lined up by the client (even if supervised by Landen) would NOT be covered by Landen’s warranty.

RENOVATION WARRANTY EXEMPTIONS: Regarding renovation warranties, Landen Design Build (Landen) will NOT warranty any existing home structures, existing items, nor existing distribution systems. Whereby Landen will only warranty any items installed by Landen, added by Landen, or contracted out by Landen. ALL other pre-existing home items, issues, problems that were not part of the renovation scope of work would NOT be covered by Landen’s warranty.
